Lorraine Slipper

Lorraine Slipper is a copy-editor and proofreader. She started her editorial career in 2004, having completed Basic Proofreading (now Essential Proofreading) with the Institute of Publishing (IoP), formerly the Publishing Training Centre. Lorraine mainly works on academic textbooks in the subjects of law, music and linguistics – and sometimes craft books.

Lorraine has been a proofreading and copy-editing tutor with the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) since 2017, as well as tutoring on two IoP courses.
